It's the second oldest golf course of the kingdom, it was inaugurated in 1927 with 4 holes played by the Pacha of Marrakech, Hadj Thami El Glaoui Mezouari. In 1928, Gustave Golias, golf champion and personal professor of the Pacha, completed the construction of the 9 first holes and is drawing the 9 following. Passionate about botanic, he also planted species who are now centenary and give to the Royal its garden gold reputation. In 1933, Gustave Golias and the famous Arnaud Massy, who is the first foreigner to win the British Open in 1907, are remodeling the course to give its grace and elegance back
It is on this course that you will discover one of the most famous holes, the “Brigitte Bardot”.
This PAR 3 was baptitised this way by its Majesty, the king Hassan II.

In 2007, and to always satisfy the requests of its customer base, The Royal Golf Marrakech entrusts the extension of 9 holes to two french designers : Gert Watine, a golf professional who was born in Morocco and Thierry Sprecher, an architect who constructed many golfs in the hexagon.
In May 2008, the New Course was officially inaugurated. This PAR 36 of 3 072 meters is in perfect harmony with the magnificent landscape, preserving its unique atmosphere that makes the well known charm of the Royal Golf Marrakech.
This course benefits of all the vegetation, perfectly integrating with the actual course, with water ponds, offering this way a more technical and long course.
